Hello, captivators! I learnt something cool about Global E-Business and Collaboration. So let me share this captivating knowledge to you!

Collaboration? I bet you know what it means. When human beings try to find their mate, they will find someone who can complete them. In other words, these two human beings collaborate. The same thing will happen in and out an organization or business. Two or more parties need to collaborate.

In an organization, Operation, Sales and Marketing, Finance and Accounting divisions are all known as Primary Division. While in Secondary Division, there will be HR, IT, Audit, Procurement, etc. Does this mean that the secondary divisions are not as important as the primary divisions? Well, no, it doesn't. They are as important as each other. They collaborate and complete each other. However, in a small medium enterprise or business, the work of secondary divisions will be more likely to be taken care by the primary division.

All of those divisions mentioned above, have only ONE GOAL, which is the company or the organization goals. How do they achieve the company's goals? Briefly, there will be four ways to do so.

1. Efficiency
2. Getting the right product to the customer
3. Make better decision
4. Deliver a good product at the LEAST cost.

There is one thing you need to remember, captivators! Least cost and lowest cost are two different things. You should never use Lowest Cost as your business strategy. It will never be a success. Why? Because other company might be able to produce even lower cost! You should never leave your focus on the quality of the product that you deliver, or else, your business will never sustain in the market.

BUSINESS PROCESS

Last week I had already said a thing or two about Management Information System. I hope you still remember it well. So, in business process, MIS is important in order to identified bottle neck and automation.

Why are all these information different for each level of management?

1. Different functions
2. Level of Security Access
3. Access Frequency

These information can be classified to Transaction Process System (TPS) and Business Intelligent System.
